Lined notebook with alphabetical index, containing handwritten entries and printed, typewritten and handwritten insertions. On the inside cover Fr Robert Tyndall SJ has written: 'Father Rector's reference book. May 1950 I began this as I could find no up-to-date journal or guidance book in the Rector's Room.' Others relate to the everyday running of the buildings, eg. electricity charges, fire precautions, organ tuning, staff wages etc. School-related subjects include school fees, boys' retreats, school dramas, sports, property (including the football field), membership of groups such as sodalities, and the Apostleship of Prayer. Other subjects of entries include visitations of the Provincial, villas, general finances of the church and school.
