Letter from Fr James Jones SJ, writing from St Beuno's College, Wales to the Irish Provincial Fr Nicholas Walsh SJ. States that he believes Fr McKenna to have ‘all the qualities that are marked in the constitutions as necessary for a Master of novices’. Recommends that he should have the full Tertianship, ‘with nothing else to do but to prepare himself & be prepared for his office’. Refers to his own future visit to Ireland.
