Letter from [ ], St. Beuno's College, St Asaph, Wales to Fr John Curtis SJ thanking him for a copy of his work on the 'Exercises of St. Ignatius'. Remarks 'It is the best, most complete and finished course of the exercises I have seen in our language and must be a consolation to any Jesuit who reads it...'

Letter from Fr James Jones SJ, writing from St Beuno's College, Wales to the Irish Provincial Fr Nicholas Walsh SJ. States that he believes Fr McKenna to have ‘all the qualities that are marked in the constitutions as necessary for a Master of novices’. Recommends that he should have the full Tertianship, ‘with nothing else to do but to prepare himself & be prepared for his office’. Refers to his own future visit to Ireland.
