Letter from Dr Edmund Knight, Bishop of Shrewsbury, to Irish Fr Provincial Timothy Kenny SJ. Reports that the latter’s ‘protegé’ Fr McCabe called on him the previous day. Regrets that he cannot be taken on formally, but suggests that he act as a temporary supply priest. Suggest other possibilities also.
