Photographs of boys who died while pupils at Crescent College, Limerick. Pupils who excelled academically and in similar fields, such as debating, boys who died while still pupils at the College, including Patrick Keating (d.1898), Dermott Gaynor and Michael Geraghty (d.1930).

Selection of photographic prints of various lay men who once attended the Crescent College. Includes members of the professions, such as lawyers, doctors, surgeons, soldiers etc. as well as those involved in the arts. Most of the earlier photos are mounted studio portraits or printed reproductions of images. Many of these images appear in various publications produced by the college over the years, including commemorative booklets and the SHC magazine. One is a press photograph, and shows Dr Michael Rynne, Irish Ambassador to Spain, presenting his credentials to General Franco. Includes a studio portrait of the opera singer Joseph O'Mara, as well as stills from 'This Sporting Life', starring Richard Harris and Rachel Roberts, and 'The Heros of Telemark', starring Harris and Ulla Jacobson. Also includes photographs of unidentified persons, for example those taken at the wedding of an unidentified past pupil, in which the couple pose with some members of the Sacred Heart community, including Frs Guinane and Bates. Images of former pupils of the Crescent who entered religious life - as Jesuits and non-Jesuits. Mostly
mounted studio prints. Some of the images appeared in various publications produced by the College, including the Crescent College Review, the SHC magazine and the Jesuit Centenary Record. Some subjects are unidentified.
